Weight: 4.5lbs

Case: Dreadnaught Alligator Econo Case

Year: 1950-1951 (Based on the FON number)

Cosmetic Condition:  Excellent considering its age.  There are various scratches all over the guitar as well as a wear mark on the back of the neck about the size of a thumb.  Last notable imperfection is some small finish cracks on the neck heel.  Overall it is in surprisingly great shape for a guitar that is over 70 years old.

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER

Tech Notes:  The original tailpiece was replaced as it was broken and non-functional. Original tailpiece included in case, but it is in broken condition. New pickguard. Replaced tuners, originals included in case(no buttons).  Fret wear is light with small divots around the first and second position, high 4 strings. Small amount of board and fret wear in the first position as well.

The setup is comfortable at 5/64" action at the low E and 4/64" action at the high e. This is measured from the bottom of the string to the top of the 12th fret.  Truss rod adjusts properly and easily without hesitation, relief is measuring right around .008".  Strings used for this are 12-52 D'Addario Chromes flat wound.  Plays cleanly and easily up the board.  Small amount of fret wear doesn't affect playability. Stays in tune perfectly.

When black lighting we noticed no breaks, cracks or repairs. Feel free to call and ask questions direct to the tech about any question of playability, condition or authenticity.
