Tech Notes: Really great player with medium to medium low action with minimal relief. This bass required a full refret done in house with jescar nickel silver frets. The fret wire is a medium fretwire to replicate a standard P Bass fret size. The bass plays cleanly up and down the board now. There is plenty of room on the truss rod for adjustments. The bass is missing both ash trays. The electronics appear to be original and the potentiometers date to 1975 which would be consistent for dating this piece to 1976. The bass was strung with 45-105 D'Addario XL bass strings and we think it works best for this bass.Â
Cosmetic Condition: Various scratches, dings and wear present all over the body, and pick guard giving this instrument a fantastic "broken in" look.
