SPECS

Weight: 4.8 lbs 

Case: Hardshell Case

Year: 1978

Condition: Very good with a handful of blemishes and dings throughout.  Back of guitar has buckle rash/scratching here and there across most of the back.  Few checking marks on the top as well as a finish crack near the pick guard that was previously repaired.  Small indentation on back of the neck.  Some chipping along binding from previous fretwork.  

Tech Notes: Fully serviced by our in house tech. Guitar and hardware were cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Fretboard cleaned and frets polished. Original grover tuners. Original Nut. Setup with Martin 13-56 gauge strings. 7/54" - 5/64" (Low E to high e) at 12th fret. Great playing considering the non-adjustable truss rod ( 0.010" relief). With Fantastic low end and balanced highs this guitar is an acoustic/bluegrass players dream. Plays great in open position and capo'ed throughout the entire neck. 

Mods or Repairs: Guitar re-fretted in the past. There were a couple loose fret ends that were re-glued and clamped back in place. Partial leveling/crowning was done to address/clean up some frets. Bridge was re-glued. Original pick guard was lifting slightly and was re-glued. Some fretboard binding was re-glued in the past. Small top crack between pick guard and bridge has been injected with glue and stable. All bracing is original and has no issues/repairs.

Neck Thickness: 1st: 0.84" / 10th: 0.98"

Fingerboard Radius: 16"

Nut Width: 1 11/16"

Scale Length: 25.4"
