1980/1981 Tokai Love Rock LS50 Les Paul Goldtop Made in Japan

1980/1981 Tokai Love Rock LS50 Les Paul Goldtop Made in Japan

The Legacy continues of extraordinary Les Paul quality builds with the Gold Top Love Rock Tokai.

A phenomenal guitar for die hards in need of high end LP looks and playability that wont leave your wallet hurting. This particular Tokai has had a crack in the body that has been professionally repaired and will play for years to come. Sound and feel of this guitar is huge. If you have heard the rumors on these early 80's models then we are here to confirm. Tokai is still king.

Body: Mahogany

Neck: One Piece Mahogany

Top: Maple

Fretboard: Rosewood

Nut: Handmade Bone

Pickups: '57 Vintage MKII PAF, exposed

We have done extensive research into the age and serial number of this guitar - we believe it was made in the early 1980s. We acknowledge that the traditional method of dating Tokai guitars would make it seem this is from 2001, but the feel and aging of the guitar contradicts that.  If you would like more info please go to the Tokai Gibson Copy Information page found here: http://www.tokairegistry.com/tokai-info/tokai-gibson.html
