An incredible example of a rare 1st year 1985 PRS Custom 24 in the iconic Cherry Burst with an EXTREMELY rare 1 piece flamed maple top.

Weight: 8.1lbs
Case: This is believed to be the original case. Although some had blue interiors, it seems that many in this era had black interiors also. Construction and materials of the case are consistent with an early PRS case.
Year: 1985
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition. Buckle rash on back. Front has a couple dings and very small amount of fretwear mostly on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th fret. Small tarnish on all hardware. Overall very good condition for an instrument of this age with expected wear for a nearly 30 year old guitar.
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Includes rare original case candy including warranty cards, winged tuner instructions, tremolo patent, and early pickup selector layout and tonal descriptions.
A notarized authentication report is included which address the discrepancy in color name that is written inside the pickup cavity, confirming the guitar is all original and has not been refinished.

TECH NOTES: Everything seems completely original. Not a screw looks out of place, everything appears to check out. Setup to PRS spec, plays cleanly across the board, and easily. Electronics have no scratching, all soldering appears to be original.
