2020 Aria Pro II SB-1000B Reissue Bass Guitar Made in Japan Red
Jesse from Ish Guitars here - pretty neat story on this bass. Aria's new USA distributer (LPD Music) contacted us with an interesting partnership. They wanted us to become one of two (one east coast and one west coast) dealers of Japanese made Aria instruments, of which have not been sold in America for years.
As I'm sure you know, Japan is producing some of the highest quality instruments in the world right now, so the answer was an easy YES! We decided to start with the iconic Aria Pro SB-1000B, the bass played by legends like Cliff Burton, John Taylor, Rudy Sarzo, Jack Bruce, and Marcus Miller.
Although this bass sports only one pickup, the electronics are incredibly versatile thanks to the "B.B. Circuit", one the the SB-1000's most iconic features. Each of the six presets on the rotary knob change the frequency of a low pass filter, which changes the character of the bass tone much more distinctively than you typical tone knob or pickup selector.
Only 4 total of these Japanese built Aria SB-1000's are being produced for this initial offering to the USA, and this is the ONLY one built in red! Enjoy having a unique 1-off bass that was hand built in Japan, along with joining us on the journey to return these legendary instruments back into the hands of American players.
