DESCRIPTION
A note from our founder, Jesse Willson, about this guitar:
At first glance, this guitar is a showstopper - but the story behind it makes it truly unforgettable. Built to commemorate Tina Sears’ 25th work anniversary at PRS, this one-of-a-kind instrument represents nearly three decades of craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication.
Tina has been with PRS for 29 years and is nothing short of a legend within the Private Stock world. She began her career as a pickup liner and worked her way through a variety of roles before joining Joe Knaggs’ team during his time as Director of Private Stock and R&D. From there, she became a cornerstone of the Private Stock department, serving as Private Stock Sales Manager from 2009 to 2014.
In that time, Tina personally spec’d over 10,000 Private Stock guitars. She and I have collaborated on a few hundred of them over the years, and working with her is always an inspiring experience. Her taste, technical knowledge, and attention to detail have shaped the DNA of countless dream guitars.
This anniversary build is no exception. Though not officially a Private Stock, it was built entirely by the Private Stock team to honor Tina’s legacy. It features a custom inlay designed exclusively for her by Paul Miles and the first-ever three-piece fretboard in PRS history - combining three different materials into one seamless, show-stopping design.
The inlay is completely unique and cannot be ordered by customers or dealers unless part of a 10-piece dealer-exclusive run, which is extremely rare. If a build like this were available through Private Stock, it would cost over $20,000.
This guitar is far more than a collector’s piece - it’s a celebration of Tina’s impact on PRS and the thousands of guitars she’s helped bring to life.
