Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5-String Bass Matte Blue to Purple Colorshift

Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5-String Bass Matte Blue to Purple Colorshift

Dingwall D-Roc Standard 5-String Bass Matte Blue to Purple Colorshift

The D-Roc Standard is a player-driven instrument that sits on the rockier side of the tone tracks, but it’s far from a one-trick pony. With a 4-position Quad-tone rotary pickup selector that offers four distinct voicings, the D-Roc Standard will help you deliver your own sound to your audience in its purest possible form.

The body is constructed from an African mahogany called khaya, with a five-piece maple neck and pau ferro fingerboard. Each of the four color options have been finished with a polyurethane coat, making this D-Roc really stand out from the crowd.

The D-Roc Standard is triple-loaded with FD-3N passive pickups. The key to their punchy tone is the use of Neodymium magnets; higher output means a more aggressive sound. Using the 4-position Quad-tone pickup selector, you can choose to operate the bridge pickup in parallel, the bridge and middle pickups in series, the neck and bridge pickups in parallel or the neck pickup in series. The remaining controls comprise passive tone and master volume.

The growing endorsee list gives an indication of where they’re proving popular – current users include Mason Nagy (Devil Wears Prada), Claudio Rocha (X-Factor) and Nick Campbell (Scary Pockets).
