This PRS Wood Library McCarty Lefty is an Ish Guitars Exclusive Instrument!
But, what is a PRS Wood Library? Wood Library guitars can only be ordered in quantities of 10 pieces by a PRS Signature Dealer (that's us!). They can't be ordered by a customer like other PRS Core models. The dealer must go to the PRS factory to hand-select woods and options, of which there are many. Out of the 10 guitars ordered, there can be 5 of each variation, with 5 total colors to be selected. That means that each variation gets 1 color, making every guitar it's own unique piece. PRS is no longer offering artist grade tops in their Wood Library program, so this guitar is one of the last ones with an artist grade top!
Basically, a Wood Library is like a half-price Private Stock!
For this Wood Library run, there are many options you can't normally order on a Core, all with their own specific purpose! Find the specs of this guitar below.
*Please note that artist grade tops do not have an indicator on the back of the headstock like the the 10 top guitars do even thought it is technically a higher grade top than a 10 top. Artist grade tops are also NO longer available on Wood Library builds!*
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup tailored to your individual tuning and string gauge preferences, if available. Our setups always include action, intonation, trem angle, and truss rod adjustments. If needed, we smooth out fret edges, address any nut or bridge shim issues, polish the frets, and condition the fingerboard. All work is completed by our experienced tech team who understand what today's players want from their instruments. If not otherwise requested our techs will setup each instrument to a comfortable medium/low action with minimal truss rod relief dependent on the instrument style.
