Condition: Excellent condition for its era. Very good condition with some wear/slight rips in the tolex on both the head and cabinet. Grill cloth has a few small holes towards the bottom. Also a bit of wear and staining of tolex and grill cloth. Otherwise a fantastic Amp Head/Cab.
Tech Notes: Fully Scoped and serviced by local legendary amp builder/technician of Retro-King Amplifiers. Great sounding vintage Sunn 2000s amp head delivering all of our favorite legendary tones in fantastic cosmetic condition. Solid State Rectifier Model.
Capacitors/Resistors: 4 Filter Caps replaced and 2 Bias Caps replaced. Originals had drifted from original values.
Tubes: 4 x GT6550R, 1 x 12AX7. All tubes tested and functioning appropriately.
Transformers: All original.
Pots: All original. Showing no signs of scratchiness or noise. 3 Control Knobs were replaced.
Switches: All original.
Cab/Tolex: Original Black Tolex
Mods: 2 Prong power cord replaced with a high quality 3 prong cord.
Service Work on amp:
- All pots, sockets and jacks cleaned with Deoxit.
- All tubes checked and inspected.
- Biased Power Tubes to spec.
- All caps checked for leakage. All are within spec.
- 4 Filter Caps Replaced, 2 Bias Caps Replaced.

- Death Cap removed.
Fantastic tones from an iconic amp. Extremely well made hand wired amp that has stood the test of time, with a long future ahead of it!
