Yamaha FG-180 Jumbo Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Natural
Yamaha FG-180 Jumbo Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Natural
TRADES - LAYAWAY - 0% FINANCINGĀ
Weight:Ā 4.1lbs
Case:Ā Case
Year:Ā 1960s-1970s
Cosmetic Condition:Ā Guitar has plenty of scratches and indentations from many years of use.Ā There is a good amount of buckle rash on the back of the guitar as well as a good sized chip on the headstock behind the low E tuning machine.Ā Amazing sounding guitar.Ā
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER
Tech Notes: Plays and sounds really good, 6/64th action to 5/64th action across the 12th fret with .009" relief.Ā Truss rod functions perfectly, just a bit tight to move.Ā 12-53 gauge light strings.Ā We did raise the nut slightly with a thin maple shim and then cut and lube the bridge to optimize action over the 1st fret.Ā Saddle is cut quite low, so there isn't a ton of room to go lower in the future, but I see no reason this setup height wouldn't lastĀ decade considering how seasoned the wood is. Lightly smells of smoke if you have a sensitive nose.
